All merchandise returned to Crimson will require a RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION (RMA) number provided by our Customer Service. Returns made without Return Material Authorization will not be accepted or processed. Crimson will provide Return Authorization only for those products purchased directly from Crimson. Consumers or dealers purchasing through a third party reseller must request returns through that reseller and are subject to that entity’s return charges and policies. Restocking fees may apply. Product received incorrectly due to an error on Crimson’s part will be credited to your account in full. Defective product will be accepted in accordance with Crimson Limited Warranty policy, as outlined in the Limited Warranty section. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide proper packaging for product being returned.
All requests by dealers requiring to return non-defective merchandise due to a change in its project/equipment or due to ordering incorrectly, will be handled on a case by case basis and a restocking charge will apply as follows. 0-30 days (25%); 31-60 days (35%); 61-90 days (50%). Returns are not allowed for merchandise over 90 days old. Reduced fees may be given for an accompanying reorder of equal or greater value. Products returned due to overstock must be in original sealed packaging and must contain all components, hardware and labeling in order to be eligible for a refund. Additional charges for repackaging, parts and labor may apply.
FREIGHT AND FREIGHT DAMAGE:
Because all Crimson product ships FOB point of shipment, all shipping costs and risks of freight damage are the responsibility of the purchaser. It is the customer’s responsibility to immediately open and inspect all packages and, in the event there is any damage or shortages, file a claim with the freight company. Please contact Crimson Customer Service at 866-668-6888 to get contact information about the specific freight company used and to discuss receiving replacement product. Keep the damaged product in its original packaging and carton. If product is received with obvious damage during shipment, refuse the shipment and contact Crimson Customer Service immediately. In the event that a shipment is received with concealed damage, it is your responsibility to file a claim with the shipping carrier. Unless concealed damage is reported to the carrier and Crimson immediately, there is no recourse. The customer will be charged for any replacement product as the eventual credit will come directly from the carrier via the claim filed.
Most Crimson mounts and accessories carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty to be free of defects in material and workmanship. All warranties are in effect beginning the date the product was invoiced by Crimson. All warranties are in effect only for the original purchaser of product. The warranty does not cover any damage caused by any modifications to the product, failure to follow Crimson instructions or warnings, improper installation and/or installations over the specified weight limit.
Crimson disclaims liability for any damages that arise as a result of theft of any product. Unless identified as products for outdoor use, all products are intended for indoor use only and failure to comply will void the warranty. Crimson’s sole warranty obligation is to the owner of its products. The option to repair or replace defective products at no charge to the original purchaser within the warranty period will be at Crimson’s discretion. The purchaser is responsible for returning the product to Crimson via prepaid shipping.
Crimson disclaims any other warranties, expressed or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and warranties of merchantability. Crimson will not be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use or inability to use Crimson products, even if Crimson has been advised that such damages may be possible. Crimson is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, any charges for labor to repair Crimson products, performed by someone other than a Crimson employee. Because some states and jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply.
Crimson will not be responsible for damage to Crimson products caused by failure to properly package product that is returned to Crimson or for damage caused by shipping carriers during shipment to or from Crimson. Crimson will not be responsible for damage to Crimson products caused by misuse or abuse of the product. Any repairs to Crimson products outside the warranty period or due to damage caused by improper use, abuse, shipping damage or modification of product will be performed at the current rates established by Crimson for such service. This warranty is in lieu of all other Warranties expressed or implied, and no one, including any distributor, dealer, installer or any other reseller, is authorized to assume any liability on behalf of Crimson or impose any obligation on it in connection with the sale of any product other than as outlined above.
